E-Waste and Moving Green

Learn more about our efforts to provide resources and spaces for students to get rid of belongings in an environmentally-responsible manner.

E-Waste Disposal

E-waste is a term for electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life." Computers, television and stereos are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled.

Move-in

During campus move-in days and throughout the month of August volunteers assist with recycling of cardboard, plastic, paper and aluminum cans by directing students and volunteers to proper recycling receptacles and help break-down boxes.

Move-out

Beginning the fourth week in April through the last week in May, donation stations are set up in all residence halls for students to drop off unwanted books, clothing, household items, electronics and food. The items are sorted by campus volunteers and donated to local organizations.
